Spring/Summer 2018 - Mindfulness Meditation
Enjoy a weekly 45-minute lunchtime session that includes 10- and 20-minute relaxing guided meditations as well as interactive discussions to cultivate mindfulness, self-compassion, and humor in everyday life.
For this 10-week series, we'll emphasize heart practices to cultivate kindness, especially kindness toward yourself
Class Dates/Times: Ten Thursdays, 12:15-1pm, April 26 through June 28 of 2018.
Take NW elevators (100s & 200s) to level C1 and walk in the opposite direction of the cafeteria. Immediately after the elevators, you'll pass bathrooms on the left. Walk toward the room ahead marked MC-C1-110, and make a left in front of it, then an immediate right. Pass by the doors for the room marked MC-C1-100. The next room on your right is MC-C1-111.
Clothing: Regular work attire is fine. We meditate in chairs, though you are welcome to lie down.
Sharing classes: Purchases are valid for the current series only. If you don't think you'll use all your sessions, you may share them (before the series ends) with friends. You are also welcome to split a package. For example, if you purchase a 10-class package with a friend, you may decide to use 5 sessions each.
